The period film is about a group of warriors in north Malabar who plan to kill Vasco Da Gama, the Portuguese explorer notorious for his brutal treatment of the natives.
Prithviraj, who is a co-producer and the hero of the film, tweeted: "Its a schedule wrap for Urumi. What a fantastic couple of months its been. What a crew, what a film maker and what a film! Cheers to us!"
The cast includes Genelia, Tabu and Prabhu Deva. The big budget film is simultaneously made in three languages--Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi. A few days ago, Prithviraj had tweeted: "Over 100 horses, 150 stuntmen, over a 1000 extras, explosives & multiple cameras. The most massive climax scene ever in malayalam..Urumi!"
