Kozhikode,Oct 28 (PTI) The Prithiviraj starrer 'Anwar',
released last week, is doing well and the initial collections
are reported to be 'very good', its director Amal Neerad said
today. Neerad, who made his directorial debut with the hit-movie
Mammootty-starrer 'Big B', said the film had taken about 70
days for completion. The film was released at 130 centres including eight
theatres in Mumbai, four at Chennai and five/six theatres at
Bangalore, Neerad, who was also the movie's cinematographer,
told a meet-the-press programme. To a query,Neerad said he has not thought of his next
movie. Neerad's second film was 'Sagar alias Jacky'. ''Anwar'' has Prithviraj playing the title role of a middle
class youngster. Actress Mamta Mohandas, Prakash Raj and La play
significant characters. While Prakash Raj portrays a police
officer, Mamata's plays the role of an ambitious chemical
engineer,he added.
