The shoot of veteran director Renjith's Prithviraj action entertainer "Indian Rupee" has started in Kozhikode.
Rima Kalingal is the heroine after Amala Paul moved out of the film due to date hassle.
The film has strong supporting cast of Suresh Gopi, Salimkumar, Jagathy, and Lalu Alex. After months Thilakan is making a comeback to mainstream Malayalam cinema with Indian Rupee.
Says Renjith who is making the film under the banner of Prithviraj's August Cinema: "Indian
Rupee is sort of a prequel to my earlier Pranchiyettan and the Saint. If Pranchiyettan was the story of rich guy who was lonely and willing to pay money for getting social recognition, the hero of Indian Rupee is a rough and tough guy for whom money is the ultimate thing in life."
