The Pokkiriraja team of Mammootty and Prithviraj is back! They are teaming up once again in Amal Neerad’s next venture, said to be a period film co-produced by Prithviraj and Santhosh Sivan. According to sources, Prithviraj will be the villain and Mammootty will play the main lead as a commoner. "Set in the 1950s, it is a film against the backdrop of forests, tea estates and the Munnar Ghats. Though the characters are fictitious, the social backdrop is very real,” the director said. This untitled film is scripted by Urumi fame Shankar Ramakrishnan and camera is by the director himself. The rest of the cast and crew have not been finalized. The movie is slated for a January release.
