Urumi Telugu Version Logo Launched


‘Urumi’ is the dubbed version
of Malayalam historical-fantasy
film ‘Urumi’ directed by acclaimed four-time National
Award winning Indian
cinematographer and filmmaker
Santosh Sivan. It stars Prabhu
Deva, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Genelia D'Souza andNithya Menon in the lead roles and Vidya Balan, Arya and Tabu in
cameo roles.
The logo of the film was launched
on Wednesday on the hands of
director VV Vinayak. Producer
Bellamkonda Suresh released the trailer.
The film features music composed
by Deepak Dev, cinematography
by Santosh Sivan, editing by A.
Sreekar Prasad and dialogues
penned by Shashank Vennelakanti.
Speaking about the film,
producer Shoba Rani said “Urumi
is the name of a sword that
belongs to 16th Century during
which Vasco da Gama came to India. We know very little about
him. He restored to many
atrocities to plunder the wealth
of our country. In the context,
he does great injustice to a
family. How does the family take revenge on this form the main
part of the story.”
