"Veettilekkulla Vazhi" , The Best Feature Film in Malayalam at the 58th National Film Awards ,which was slated for release on July22nd was postponed to August 5th.
Veetilekkulla Vazhi is an adventure drama highlighting human relationships. It emphasizes the path of love, survival, innocence and humanity,
exploring a bloodstained facet of contemporary terrorism in India. The film is a travelogue through the most beautiful landscapes of India. Prithviraj leads the casting playing a prison doctor. His brother Indrajith plays a Tamilian.
Other important characters include Dhanya Mary Varghese and Lakhsmi Priya.
The film was largely shot in Ladakh, Kashmir, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Bikkamkur, Ajmer, Pushkar and New Delhi by cameraman M J Radhakrishnan. Music is by Ramesh Narayanan.The movie is being produced by B C Joshi under the banner of Soorya Cinema.
