The actor will get to star
opposite Prithviraj for the
second time
Last week, we had reported
that Trisha Krishnan was all set
to debut in Malayalam with
Prithviraj’s Hero, to be
directed by Deepan.
Unfortunately for both Prithviraj and Trisha, there has
been a change in plans. Shriya Saran will now be Hero’s
heroine. Deepan has confirmed
the news and has also revealed
that Trisha had to be replaced
due to call-sheet issues. This is
Shriya’s third Malayalam film after the Mammootty –
Prithviraj starrer Pokkiri Raja
and Mohanlal’s soon-to-be-
released Casanova. The film’s
script is being written by Vinod
Guruvayoor. Tamil actor Srikanth will play a negative
role in the film. Shooting will
begin in November. As for
Trisha, we guess Mollywood will
have to wait some more time
to catch her speaking Malayalam.
