Actor Prithviraj's latest venture may sound like a blast into the past, but it is far from it.
He has been signed on to play Louis VI in debutant directors Jikson and Rajeesh Anthony's Louis Aaraman. No, not the 18th century tyrant French King, but the sixth son of a Catholic Kuttanadu couple. The film will have the Mozhi actor in an entertaining role of an young man who fails his Class X Board exams several times so he doesn't have to fulfill his parent's vow of making him a pastor.
Meanwhile, Prithvi, who was last seen in Kollywood in Mani Ratnam's Raavanan, seems to have taken a break from signing more films here. Looks like his fans will have to feel content with just catching him in dubbed Tamil versions of his Malayalam films like Urumi.
