all that "Urumi" a big budget film based on the story of a Boy who want to Kill Vasco Da Gama directed by Santhosh Sivan. One of the main highlight of the movie is that Kollywood Super Dancer Prabhu Deva has been added to this biggie movie in an important role and also through "Urumi", he is debutting to Malayalam film world.
The Story is all about a group of men, especially a Boy who wanted to assassinate Vasco Da Gama. Prithviraj and Genelia are playing the lead roles. Prithviraj plays the Boys role who wanted to kill Vasco Da Gama whereas Genelia plays a Portuguese princess in this 15th century period film.
The script was written by Sankar Ramakrishnan, who was one of the directors in Kerala Cafe anthology. According to trusted sources, ‘ Urumi’ will also have an abridged English version for an International market.
