Prithviraj, whose last release was the Renjith Shankar- directed Arjunan Sakshi, is at present busy shooting for Manikyakallu, directed by M.Mohanan. Manikyakallu is the second film by director M.Mohanan, who had made his debut with Katha Parayumbol, the film that had gone places like Kuselan and Billoo. Manikyakallu, which is currently being shot in and around Palakkad, has Prithviraj playing a teacher. Vinayachandran, Prithviraj’ s character, is qualified and efficient and can teach in any good school but he chooses to teach at a school in a little village. The school may even be shut down as the number of students are too less. Samvritha Sunil is the heroine of the film that also stars Nedumudi Venu, Salim Kumar, Anil Murali, Manraj and Anoop Chandran. M.Mohanan himself is in charge of the script. P.Sukumar is the cinematographer for Manikyakallu, which is being produced by A.S.Gireesh Lal under the banner of Gauri Meenakshi Movies.
