Writer, director and producer Ranjith, whose last venture Pranchiyettan and the Saint (2010) turned out to be one of the biggest hits in megastar Mammootty's career, is back with his new directorial venture. Titled "Indian Rupee" , this film will reportedly have young superstar Prithviraj in the lead role.
Ranjith-Prithviraj last combo film "Thirikatha" was well acclaimed superhit one. Ranjith's last 2 films
holds Priyamani in heroine'e seat, but for "Indian Rupee" he choosed new sensation girl Rima Kallingal. Tiny Tom, Thilakan, Nedumudi Venu, Innocent will support in the cast. Cinematography is by S. Kumar and music by by Shahbaz Aman. "Indian Rupee" will produced by August Cinema and Capital Cinema.
