Malyalam actor Prithviraj is
finally making his Bollywood
debut with Rani Mukerji in
Anurag Kashyap’ s next. The movie is expected to go on
floors this September and will be
directed by Sachin Kundalkar.
Prithviraj just got married two
days back and the timing
couldn’ t have been better as there were lots of uncertainty
regarding the project with both
sides using double tongues all
the time.
Anurag who himself is getting
married today at his hometown is Banaras, says, “This untitled production will be directed by
Sachin Kundalkar. Prithviraj will
indeed be making his debut with
this film. Rani Mukerji will co-star
alongside him.” Anurag’ s GANGS OF WASSEYPUR (made in two parts) is complete and is in post
production. His other two movies
are SHAITAN and THAT GIRL IN
YELLOW BOOTS which will also be
released successively. So it’ s surely high time for Anurag who
will tie the knot with Kalki
Koechlin, his long time girlfriend,
today.
“This film is scheduled to take off sometime in September.
We’ re waiting for Prithviraj to finish the Malayalam films that
he’ s given nod to before us before we start off,” Anurag further adds.
Insiders suggest that Rani would
also be free by September as
her current project, Reema
Kagti’ s untitled movie, will wrap up by then. So the decision has
been conciously taken by the
both sides. Let’ s see how it turns out…
