Cinematography-turned-
filmmaker Santhosh Sivan i s
vigorously wrapping up the post
production works of his multi-
lingual project ‘ Urumi’ . Simultaneously made in English,
Malayalam and Tamil, the film
features Prithviraj, Genelia D’ Souza and Prabhu Deva in lead
characters while Bollywood
actresses Tabu and Vidya Balan
are enacting prominent
characters along with Arya.
Santhosh Sivan is now busy working on the songs for Tamil
version along with Deepak Dev
and he has signed Vairamuthu
for the lyrics.
Says Santhosh Sivan: “I am really excited to work with Vairamuthu
after many years. Last time we
met was during the time of
Manirathnam’ s ‘ Roja’…”
