"Veetilekkula Vazhi" hits soon on bigscreens..

This might sound a bit unusual but then the film Veetilekkula Vazhi which has also got a National Award is unable to find a buyer in Kerala. However, it is now heard that things have been worked out and the film is expected to hit the screens in the month of June. This has been directed by Dr Biju and it has the rising superstar Prithviraj in the lead. The film has already been screened across various international film festivals and won accolades. 'City of God' from today [April 23]

As per the reports, the much delayed Prithviraj starer 'City of God' will get to theatres today. The movie which was said to be enmeshed in some financial troubles will make it to around 50 centres. Directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery, 'City of God' will also have Indrajith in an equally important role with Prithviraj. 'City Of God' which carry excellent reports is a multinarrative which tells the story of three female charters played by Reema kallingal, Parvathy and Shwetha menon. The movie also feature a few different songs set to music by Prasanth Pillai, while Anil Mathew of Marymatha productions produce the movie.

'City of god' for April 23

The new movie from Prithiraj-Indrajith duo, 'City of God,' which was planned to be on theatres last month, will get to theatres this April. The movie will go for a release on the 23rd of April, after the arrival of Vishu biggies like 'Doubles' and 'China Town'. Directed by Lijo jose pallassery, 'City of god' travels through of life of six characters telling different tales which meets at a certain point. As of now, Prithviraj is celebrating the sweet victory of his new movie 'Urumi' for which he is receiving accolades from every corner. Preview : City Of God - Expect the big difference in the lives of 'City of God'

After a short gap from their previous films like 'Classmates', ‘ Nammal Thammil’ , Police and Oruvan, the young superstar Prithviraj and his elder brother Indrajith are coming together once again in new movie titled as ‘ City of God’ . The movie which is much expected to become a refreshing endeavour, tells the lives of a few strangers in a city, which becomes intertwined as never before. Directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery after his much acclaimed debut in the Indrajith starrer 'Nayakan', the movie has the scripts by Babu Janardhanan. 'City of God' is presented in a non-linear narrative style, telling different interlinked incidents in the lives of Tamil workers in the state, real estate mafia and business groups, that happens at the same time. The movie shot with a hand held camera by Sujith Vasudev, will have a realistic feel running all along. Prithviraj will be in the role of Jyothilal, an educated man which takes to criminal activities for a living. Indrajith is a Tamil labourer, Swarnavel, who is in love with Marathakam, a Tamil woman who flees her village to escape from her ever disturbing married life and husband.


A wily business man in the city, Sony Vadayattil, catches fancy of Jyothilal who effortlessly lives his criminal life, and within months he starts sponsoring him and using him for his nefarious activities.But soon, Jyothilal is forced to take care of three strange women including Marathakam, who enters his life accidentally. The other two women whose stories also unfolds amidst the proceedings are Viji Punnose a wealthy woman, who witnesses the murder of her husband and Sooryaprabha, an actor who is carrying the baggage of some relationships that have gone bad. While Pravathy of flash appears as Marathakam, Shwetha Menon plays Viji Ponnose and Reema Kallingal dons the role of Sooryaprabha. Rohini, Krishnakumar, Rajeev, Rajesh Hebbar and Sudhir Karamana also play some of the other characters in the film. The movie will also have Jagadheesh playing a crucial police character named Pavamani, while Fahad Fazil appear in a pivotal role. Packaged in a way, perhaps never seen before in Malayalam, the movie will have a close styles as the recent Tamil films. The movie will have music by Prashanth Pillai while Manoj does the editing. Pradeep Rengan and Aji handles the makeup while Saloo k George leads the art department. ‘ City of God' being produced by Anitha Anil Mathew under the banner of Mary Matha Creations was mostly shot in Kochi. The movie entering in final preparations for release will get to theatres late.

‘ City of God’ only in April

The much awaited release of Prithviraj - Indrajith starrer ‘ City of God’ is postponed once again. The film that was due on March 9 was pushed to this Friday March 11. But even the new date has not worked for the film. Now the responsible people say ‘ City of God’ will be released only in April after the world cup cricket frenzy dies down. The film has got a clean ‘ U’ certificate from the censors. Director Lijo Jose Pellissery assures the film is for the entire family audiences. ‘ City of God’ , scripted by Babu Janardhanan tells the story of the life of Tamil migrant workers in Kerala who are constantly living in fear of land mafia and criminals. The story also has three women, arvathy, Rima, Swetha and Priyanka, who accidentally find a leading goonda as their Saviour.

City Of God Hitz To Theater On March 9th

One of the most expected movie in 2011, "City of God", going to hit theatres on March 9th.
The brother duo, Prithviraj and Indrajith, teams up again in the film "City of God" after a gap. V.K.Prakash directed movie "The Police" was there last together acted movie. Both acted in many malayalam movies together in "Achan Urugatha Veedu", "Nammal Thammil" and "Classmates" are few of them. Along with Prithvi and Indrajith, Director Fazil's Son Shanu also doing a cameo in this movie. Lijo Jose Pellissery directs this flick. His debut as a director was Indrajith starred film Nayakan. Rima Kallingal, Swetha Menon, Parvathi Menon and Rohini are the female leads . Anitha Anil Mathew produces the movie under the banner of Mary Matha
Productions. Babu Janardhanan handles the script for City of God. Prasanth will compose music for the movie.

Indraijth : Prithvi has the maturity of a 40 year old

Indrajith
thinks his brother Prithviraj
has the maturity of a 40 year
old man, though he is only 27.
"Prithvi is like our dad. He is
very mature and has a good reading interest like our
father. he likes traveling and
books. In fact, he is a book
addict. I am more like our mom.
Though I like music and
reading, the fact is that I don't find much time for
reading," says Indrajith.
"Prithvi has also got the habit
of for thrightness from our
dad. He says it gives him lots
of mental peace to be honest," added Indrajith in an
interview given to a prominent
magazine.

Chullikkadu & Ambika Mohan After Gulumal, director V.K Prakash is coming up with his new film Three Kings. The film stars Jayasurya, Kunchacko Boban, and Indrajith in the pivotal roles. Samvrutha Sunil, Aan Augustine, and Sandhya play the heroines. Three Kings is scripted by Y.V Rajesh, who scripted Gulumal also. The flick is produced by Abdul Nasser(Jeevan) under the banner K.N.M Films. Bhaskaranunni Raja, Shankaranunni Raja and Ramanunni Raja were born on the same day, same time at the same hospital to three brothers of a royal family. But these three princes create problems for each other. They lose all their wealth and plunges their families to big debt. In order to make money, Bhaskaranunni Raja wants to become a big sports person, while Shankaranunni Raja wants to become a film star and Ramanunni Raja wants to become famous through Realty Shows. But nothing works out well. They come across a way to make money fast. The Rajas set out in search of a treasure hidden some where. Their lovers also join them. Raja’s search for the hidden treasure makes the crux of the story. Indrajith plays the role of Bhaskaranunni Raja, Jayasurya play the role of Shankaranunni Raja and Kunchacko Boban plays Ramanunni Raja. Their lady loves Anju, Manju and Ranju's roles are played by Samvrutha Sunil, Aan Augustine and Sandhya. Jagathy Sreekumar, Ashokan, Salim Kumar, Suraaj Venjaramood, Balachandran Chullikkadu and Ambika play other main roles. Music is by Ousepachan and camera is handled by Venu. ‘ City of God’ . The movie, featuring brothers
Prithviraj and Indrajith in the

Indrajith and Sandhya got hurt during shoot Tamil

actress Sandhya who is
now busy in Malayalam films, go t
her self injured, while doing a
ri sky action scene for her
for the coming Three Kings.
The incident happened in the most famous shooting spot in
Kerala, the Athirapally water fall s
near Chalakudy.
An important chase scene was
being shot by director VK
Prakash on Indrajeet (Mozhi fame Prithviraj's elder brother)
and Sandhya who were riding a
bike.
Due to heavy rains the bike
skidded and the hero and
heroine fell on the ground. Both of them had bruises on their
hands. Sandhya's leg got burned
as the bike silencer hit her and
doctors have advised her to
take a couple of days rest.
Indrajith escaped with very minor injuries.
Sandhya speaking from Kochi
said: "I had a miraculous escape.
After dressing the wounds in a
hospital, I'm taking rest in my
hotel. I would join the shoot after the wounds heal.".
Meanwhile, Sandhya's new film
Traffic which released last week
in Kerala has got her critical
acclaim and box-office success.
