"Veettilekkulla Vazhi" , The Best Feature Film in Malayalam at the 58th National Film Awards ,which was slated for release on July22nd was postponed to August 5th.
Veetilekkulla Vazhi is an adventure drama highlighting human relationships. It emphasizes the path of love, survival, innocence and humanity,
exploring a bloodstained facet of contemporary terrorism in India. The film is a travelogue through the most beautiful landscapes of India. Prithviraj leads the casting playing a prison doctor. His brother Indrajith plays a Tamilian.
Other important characters include Dhanya Mary Varghese and Lakhsmi Priya.
The film was largely shot in Ladakh, Kashmir, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Bikkamkur, Ajmer, Pushkar and New Delhi by cameraman M J Radhakrishnan. Music is by Ramesh Narayanan.The movie is being produced by B C Joshi under the banner of Soorya Cinema.

"Veettilekkulla Vazhi" releasing on May.

Veettilekkulla Vazhi (The Way Home),directed by Dr Biju Kumar which has been selected to feature in the Competition Section of the 10th Imagine India International film festival gonna hits screens soon. The film is expected to release on May third week.
The film concerns a doctor who sees his wife and five-year-old son die in an explosion at a market in Delhi. Now working at a Prison Hospital, he is assigned the case of a woman in critical condition, a surviving suicide bomber from the 'Indian Jihadi' terrorist group. Despite his efforts, the woman dies. But before dying, she entrusts him to find her five-year-old son and unite him with his father Abdul Zuban Tariq, head of the terrorist group. What forms next
is what the film is all about.
The Veettilekkulla Vazhi (The Way
Home) has already been screened in five international film festivals including the Cairo and Mumbai fest. It bagged the Netpac award for best film in the
IFFK,last year.
Prithviraj plays a doctor who is in search of a terrorist to return his child back to him. The story unfolds going into the depths of terrorism in India. And also can say one of the brilliant acting done by Prithvi in his carrier. The movie stars the brothers due of Prithviraj- Indrajith. The film is being produced by B C Joshi under the banner of Soorya Cinema and carries the weight of a lot of expectations. Its cinematography handled by M.J. Radhakrishnan , editing by Manoj Kannoth and Art section handled by Santhosh Raman. Music by Ramesh Narayan and Lyrics penned by Madhusoodhanan Nair .

'Veettilekkulla Vazhi' for Imagine India festival

Director Dr. Biju's latest movie 'Veettilekkulla Vazhi' has been selected to the competition section of the tenth edition of the' Imagine India International Festival'. The festival to be held at Madrid, Spain in between May 17-31 will feature only one more film from South India, Girish Kasaravally's 'Riding the Stallion of Dreams'. 'Veetilekkulla Vazhi' is produced by B C Joshy in the banner of Surya cinema. The movie which was already screened in five international film festivals including Cairo and Mumbai has already bagged the Netpac award for best film in the IFFK, 2010.The movie featuring Prithviraj in the lead and shot in Panavison camera across six states of India, will get to theatres by the month of April.

Prithviraj's latest film 'Veettilekkulla Vazhi' is complete and ready for release. It is an adventure drama by the critically acclaimed director Dr Biju. The film is about the terrorist groups operating in India and their recruiting of young Keralites for evil missions. The director says his film explores the bloodstained facets of present-day terrorism and also highlights the value of human relationships Prithviraj leads the casting playing a prison doctor. His brother indrajith plays a Tamilian. Other important characters include Dhanya Mary Varghese and Lakhsmi Priya. The film was largely shot in Ladakh, Kashmir, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Bikkamkur, Ajmer, Pushkar and New Delhi by cameraman M J Radhakrishnan. Music is by Ramesh Narayanan. Dr Biju's earlier movies like Saira (2005) and Raman (2008) were entries at Cannes and Cairo film festivals. So there are a lot of expectations for this film also.
