Prithviraj’ s ‘ Anwar’ is getting bigger as the distributors are
fa scinated with the movie for
its stunning make. Al though
the movie was made in
Malayalam, it revolves around
the Coimbatore bomb blast that shook entire nation and
focalizes on how young sters
are lured towards terrorism.
The story revolves around
Anwar (Prithviraj) while
travelling with Hawala money is trapped by police and is
sent to jail. He is confined
behind the bar where a local
community leader involved
bomb blasts (played by Lal) is
also present. Soon he lures him into terrorism by helping
him get bail and is introduced
to the whole gang. Very
shortly he gets involved in
chain of events of bomb
blasts. But Anwar’ s motive is different that is revealed
during later point of time.
Prakash Raj plays the role on
anti-terrorist mission leader.
Mamta Mohandas stars
opposite Prithviraj in female lead while Sampath plays the
n egative character. The film
per formed well at Kerala Box
Office and is now getting
released in Tamil with more
prints.
