Prithviraj's new
film
Manikyakkallu is
releasing today
(May 5) in limited
screens in Kerala. The film was censored and
cleared with an 'U' certificate
only yesterday evening. There has been no pre-release
publicity for the film. Why the
producers and distributors are
not promoting the film remains
a mystery. Manikyakkallu is written and
directed by M Mohanan whose
last release his debut film
Katha Parayumbol (remade in
Tamil as Kuselan and in Hindi as
Billu), was a super hit. Prithvi plays a school teacher
in a government school
spotting a Mundu. Samvrutha
Sunil is the heroine.
