Its Prithviraj Vs Vijay in August

Well it looks like Prithviraj will lock heads with his neighboring star Vijay in August. Prithviraj's rom-com 'Teja Bhai and Family' will see release sometime in mid-August around the same time when Vijay�s superhero film 'Velayudham' will hit theatres. While this will be Prithviraj's first tryst with a full-length comedy role, 'Velayudham' will be Vijay's first film in a superhero subject. Many people in Kerala consider Prithviraj to be the next big name in the Malayalam film industry, while Tamil boy Vijay too has an impressive fan base in the god's own country. Directed by Deepu Karunakaran 'Teja Bhai and Family' will see Akila Sasidharan sharing screen space with Prithviraj, and is produced by P. K. Muralidharan and Santha Murali, who have earlier produced Prithviraj's 'Classmates,' 'Chocolate' and 'Robinhood.' Vijay's 'Velayudham' has Hansika Motwani and Genelia D'Souza as his heroines, is directed by M. Raja, and produced by Aascar Films. Considering Vijay's fan base in Kerala the producers have decided to release 'Velayudham' in nearly 90 theatres panning the state, reveal sources close to the film circle. Theatre owners also opine that Vijay will prove a tough competition for Prithviraj. The crowd always chooses the better film any day. It is just a matter of time to see who will reign in Kerala come August!

Teja Bhai And Family coming during Onam

Young superstar Prithviraj's comedy film Teja Bhai And Family, being directed by Dipu Karunakaran, will be an Onam release. The shooting is almost complete and the post production will commence in full swing very soon. Produced by Shantha Murali under the banner of Anatha Vision, Teja Bhai And Family is a humour based action film in which Prithviraj appears as underworld don Teja. Akhila Sasidharan is the heroine. The film was shot in Thiruvananthapuram and Malaysia.

Prithviraj to clash with Vijay at Box Office!

Malayalam actor Prithviraj is
going to clash with Tamil actor
Vijay. Superstar Prithvi is gearing
up to release his next movie
Tejabhai and Family in August.
According to reports, Ilayathalapathy Vijay has also
planned to release his upcoming
Tamil film Velayudham on the
same day across Kerala. So
there would be a tough
competition between the two stars at the Box Office.
Velayudham is being produced
and distributed by V
Ravichandran under the banner
of Aascar Films. The movie is said
to be hitting the theatres in Kerala on the same day of the
release of Tejabhai and Family.
Vijay has a huge fan following in
Kerala. So the producer has
planned to screen in more than
90 theatres across the state. Experts say that Vijay's film is
sure to pose a tough
competition to Tejabhai and
Family.
However, Prithviraj's Tejabhai
and Family is a romantic comedy film and has been directed by
Deepu Karunakaran. Akhila
Sasidharan is playing his heroine
in it. Velayudham is an action
masala film directed by M Raja
and it stars Vijay, Hansika Motwani and Genelia D'Souza in
lead roles. Since both are much-
hyped and much-anticipated
movies. It is difficult to tell which
movie will be successful.

The Prithviraj starrer, Teja Bhai And Family, directed by Deepu Karunakaran, is on the roll, with shoots going on in Thiruvananthapuram. Deepu Karunakaran, the maker of Winter and Crazy Gopalan, has cast Prithviraj as the hero, Teja Bhai, in Teja Bhai And Family. For Prithviraj, whose Urumi is winning him much appreciation, Teja Bhai And Family is a welcome change. The actor gets to do a light, humorous kind of movie. He plays Teja Bhai, an underworld don based in Kuala Lumpur who is caught in a very difficult situation. He has to come back home, to Kerala and also hide his identity to marry Vedika, who is a social worker and the daughter of an industrialist. Akhila, who played the heroine in Karyasthan, plays Vedika. Also in the cast are Jagadeesh, Suraaj Venjaramoodu, Salim Kumar, Suman, Manianpillai Raju, Nandu, Manju Pillai, Bindu Panicker, Shakeela etc.Scripted by Deepu Karunakaran himself, the film is produced by P.K.Muralidharan and Shanta Murali under the banner of Anantha Vision has music by Deepak Dev and cinematography by Shamdut.

It is known news that young superstar Prithviraj is busy with the shooting of the film Tejabhai and Family. Now, it is heard that one of the most unforgettable dance song in Mollywood is "Oru Madhurakinavin..." which was part of the eighties hit Kanaamarayathu. Now, this number is going to be remixed and the remix is by Deepak Dev while the lyrics are penned by Shyam. It is heard that the remix will be canned on Prithviraj himself

'Oru Madhura kinavin' in Thejabhai

The evergreen dance song of Mollywood 'Oru Madhurakinavin' will be featured for the new movie 'Thejabhai and family'. The Prithviraj movie which will have him in the title character will have the remix version of the song which was originally used for the eighties hit 'Kanaamarayathu'. Prithviraj starts shooting for Tejabhai And Family

Malayalam actor Prithviraj does not seem to be worried about the promotion of his much- anticipated film Urumi. The young star is said to have moved on from the project and started shooting for his next movie Tejabhai And Family. Sources claim that Urumi has created lot of curiosity among the viewer before its release and Prithvi hopes that the word of mouth would do magic at the collection centres.
The shooting of Tejabhai And Family was was lunched in the Kuthiramalika premises on 23rd April. Currently, Prithviraj and director Deepu Karunakaran are said to be shooting for the film at Thiruvananthapuram. It is also reported that a few sequences of the movie will be shot in Malaysia.
However, Tejabhai And Family is a

Prithviraj seems to be youngest actor in Mollywood to have handled the roles of underworld dons with elaan. Take his short career in films and you will see a plenty of similar roles, starting form his initial films like 'Stop Violence', to the recent 'Thanthonni'. The film that he is already on 'Tejabhai and family' will also have him in the title role, which is also a don based on Malaysia. The movie by Deepu Karunakaran, the hit director of 'Crazy Gopalan' is a pretty humorous tale about the bad don who changes faces to suit the typical family values, after he had fallen for a social worker 'Vedika'. Akhila Sasidharan of 'Karyasthan' fame will come up in the role of Vedika in the movie, which is already in the sets in the capital city. The movie is expected to reach the theatres by the month of July.

superstar Prithviraj is all excited about his new project 'Tejabhai and Family' to be
directed by Deepu Karunkaran.
"Tejabhai is going to be my first full length comedy role," says Prithvi. "There would be elements of comedy in the
manners and movements of
Tejabhai. At the same time, it would be in a very stylish way that the story would be
presented." Prithvi says that the film
would have all the elements of a good entertainer.
Deepu had earlier directed two films; 'Crazy Gopalan'

Prithvi on a full length comedy

“This is the first full length comedy film in which I am casted in comic style. The movie planned in a stylish way will also have all elements for a decent family entertainer” says Prithviraj about his new project ' Teja Bhai and family'. Directed by Deepu Karunakaran after his previous hit 'Crazy Gopalan', the movie will tell a humorous love story in the backdrop of underworld. 'No films in the past with dons as heroes dealt with the lighter side of them. It was one such thought that led me into this film' says Deepu who also scripts the movie. 'Teja Bhai and Family' will have locations at Malaysia and Thiruvananthapuram. The movie will have 15 days of shoot at Malaysia. The movie produced by Santha Muraleedharan and P K Muraleedharan in the banner of Anantha films is expected to be on sets at the capital city, by the 29th of March. Meanwhile, Prithviraj will have his big budget flick 'Urumi' released by the 31st of March.
